Happy birthday to the GATE! This week marks 2 years of the GATE with the doors opening on 20 March 2018 at OAI.
We set out with a mission to promote ag tech and provide opportunities to make our research more impactful and I think we have. Through the GATE over $40 million investment has been generated in new ag tech businesses. We are helping regional start-up businesses and DPI researchers to turn their ideas into commercially available products and services for the benefit of primary industries. And throughout NSW DPI has provided an important leadership contribution for innovation in Australia. A great start and lots of future opportunities!
